| Divemaster drysuit with latex seals? Hallo, another newbie question. I have very long hair (I am a girl, it's ok to have this..) and I tried on a Divemaster drysuit with neoprene seals and could not a) get it over my head or b) get my hair out of it. The guy in the shop said he had a new, but older model, Divemaster with a hood and latex seals. I think I want latex seals because of my hair, but he hood has to go - again - because of my hair I need a separate hood. Anyway to get to the point-my instructor said he had not heard of a neoprene suit with latex seals (I have seen the suit, it does exist!) and he wondered if the latex would kind of "blow up" before the neoprene around my neck and wrists, when the suit was pressurised. I would welcome your comments before I go and start spending shed loads of money |

| My scubapro spitzbergen suit had latex seals. Just sold it on ebay - not what I wanted but good enough suit. Sure there are other options too. I had the long hair problem too when I started diving - so I cut if off You might prefer to try talc on the inside of the seals

| My DUI has latex seals, I have not had any problems having latex seals on a neoprene suit. I personally prefer them. I would recommend trying as many different types of suit and see which one you feel comfortable in. O3 suits are definitely very nice suits. Seen a couple of Hunter suits recently, which are trilaminates, look like very decent suits. Mark

| I know a girl with long hair who bundles it all up under a swimming cap, KY's the outside of the cap, then puts her head through the neck seal - looks well odd (especially as it's a gold cap!) but seems to work... Dave.
