Lightbulb Drysuit boots (time for a change)

Following the demise of my drysuit boots yesterday I am now forced to change them.
I am thinking of removeing the old welly boots (otter britanic) and replacing them with latex socks as used on sailling drysuits, Then wearing either rockboots or heavy duty wetsuit boots over the top.
One of the main reasons behind this idea is so the suit can be turend inside our after use to allow proper drying out.
Any advise or ideas?
Thanks

A good friend of mine has the rock books and considers the main disadvantage is the risk of puncturing the socks when puting your gear on, he uses a changing mat and lookes at the area for sharp objects, Personally i could'nt be arsed and would just have the old boots replaced
good luck Greg

boots and stuff

Ever thought about that Dampire things that absorb the moisture out of your suit? I use them and would recommend them to anyone . By the way, I've got a pair of size 8 boots (used twice of a Britanic) kicking around some where if interested.

Thanks for the boot offer but unfortunatly I take size 10/11 boots
I have thought about Dampire/katlitter in stockings ETC to dry out the damp but quite like the idea of a reasonably tight fitting boot.
And no the suit dident leak prior to the boot hole it was sweat/condensation and the rinsing out.
So are the socks they fit for the rockboots latex or neopreen?
ANY PICS?
thanks
