| Drysuit Zip Care?? Hello again everyone, Just wondering what most of you are using to care for your drysduit zip. At the moment have not actually used anything and after about 10 dives it's starting to get stiff. Can anyone reccomend any brand of wax specifically and any other care tips would be much appreciated. cheers |

| Paraffin wax is a bit 'slippier' than beezwax.

| This stuff is bloody great... http://www.beaversports.co.uk/catalo...r_kit/lub1.jpg better than beeswax, easier to apply and makes you zip smoother than a polished smooth thing drinking a smoothie. About the only thing that Beaver flog that is decent and is not neoprene, a hose or an Atomic mask.

| I've used it for two years on mine. I don't slop it all over the place, actually I'm wondering if it is parafin wax, it was the little balls they sell in beauty parlours for hair removal. I melted it into a tray and cut it into usable sticks. The thing to watch is silicone, it works well, but once it gets onto the suit material, you'll never stick a new zip there.

| storage Don't forget If hanging up the suit, do up the zip If rolling/packing the suit, leave it undone... |

I've tried all sorts of chemicals but always ended up back on bees wax. It's dirt cheap too (unlike most things in diving). |
