Fourth Element Xerotherm Arctic under a 5mm O'Three Drysuit.
To be honest it's a bit much at this time of year.

I have an all in one woolly bear, weight and manufacturer unknown, that I bought for a tenner from the seconds rack at the dive show. I've never been cold so haven't considered buying anything else.

Mind you, it looks like a gigantic romper suit and I get called George Dawes but what the hell

Thank you Keith, I thought I was going to be the only real skinny wuss here

I use Subzero Factor 1 base thermals with the Polar Bears 400grm Thinsulate B suit (and thinsulate booties over wicking socks) and I'm thinking about adding the Factor 2 layers to go under it. Partly to keep toasty and partly to lessen the effects of squeeze (always get a little bit on the deepest body parts when using suit and wing.

My suit is a Polar Bears Explorer 350grm Polyester membrane

I use either an Aquion undersuit or an Otter. It is absolutely essential no matter what you use that it should never be washed. A well seasoned undersuit should be like beaver pelt, heavily impregnated with natural oils and smell slightly of fish.

Under that I wear a good set of thermals, I use a thin Sprayway Polartec fleece top and Patagonia longjohns, with a base layer of silk thermals under that.

As a few other YD-ers have commented on, I also have a natural layer of fur (I could have a very satisfying career playing Elmo from Sesame Street in specialist adult films) which seems to help me keep warm too

The biggest thermal boost I've had is buying a rebreather -- before I could just about tolerate an hour in 7deg water, I can do a couple of hours now and hardly notice it. An amazing difference in warmth.

Last winter
5mm Scubapro Spitzberg. with Fourth Element Xerotherm artic 3 piece set - could manage hour long dives in 7 degrees easy!

This summer
Polar Bear Membrane with Fourth Element Xerotherm Artic 3 piece, with normal xerotherm top - nice n toasty for well over an hour in 14 degrees.

I hate the cold! you'll also see me shivering in winter by the fire refusing to go out at all, or wearing the above clothes on non diving days too

fourth element exotherm arctic gets my vote, I recently got trousers and top and hve used them on a rescue course in Cornwall on the warmest weekend weve had, also fine in a quarry in 11deg - and when the winter comes I shall use it under a weezle extreme twill be like the maldives......
