| Cut it baggy then use a zip tie |

| Mark, Once you start to get to the bigger end of the neck market it become a little more difficult to get a comfortable fit with a latex seal. I personally find a neoprene seal much more comfortable and you don't get the 'recently garrotted' neck mark either. You could give that try. All the best

| Neck seal sizing As a rule of thumb, cut your neck seal so that it is 20% smaller than your neck circumference (though I would advise that you do this cautiously). For you this means cutting it to a circumference of 32-33cm which is a fair bit bigger than you have at the moment. Paul |

| Thanks for replies, I did pick up something about the percentage of seal/neck size but could not find out the recomended %, as mine is around 37% smaller I would think it is too tight, will knock it down to 30% to start and then gradually go to around the 20% mark and hope I dont stuff it up. Many Thanks for the tips, especially the zip ties, and gaffer tape cheers. Mark |

| I bought my first dry suit and found the neck seal to have a tiny opening. It felt like my head was inflating! I trimmed off about 7mm around the edge and tried it on again and it felt much more comfortable. Now of course I am scared I trimmed too much and am scared to go in the water in it! The opening is still small compared to my neck size though. I think I need to risk it and try it in the pool before I take it in for a new seal. Jim

| I would definitely trim yours. Assuming the neck seal has the rings around it, its a good idea to not trim more than one of those at a time away. Do it in small stages, you can always remove more, but you can't put it back! Obvious I know, but its amazing how many people make that mistake and a new neck seal would be a pointless expense! |

| rings Thanks, Yes it does have lots of rings on it, and a bod at work has said same thing, so will trim it back a bit and try it, from advice given on here I should have quite a bit to cut off, but a little at a time until I am happy, Thanks Mark |
