Dry Suit Hose

Just realised i've still got my dry suit hose attached to my regs and i'm not going to need it in the Red Sea so do i attempt to get to LDS last minute to get it removed or try and remove it myself (in which case what to use?)

If you've got a blanking plug to go in the hole, you can take it off yourself (I use an adjustable spanner). But if not, it won't do any harm to leave the hose attached, and just tuck it away neatly somewhere (maybe bungee it to the cylinder).

Yep. If you don't have any blanking plugs to fill it, then LDS or tucking hose away neatly is probably your best option.

Yes it will.

Best leave it on, just tuck it away somewhere out of the way so it doesn't catch on anything.

Maybe time you thought about getting some help with configuring your own kit ?

If you're in a club some more experienced divers will help you out I'm sure, most LDS keep a "dive tool" that will give all the "spanners" and allen keys you need to move stuff around about a 10-15 quid depending on where you are.

If you're stuck give me a ring and we can talk about those pics your're gonna take at the same time

Trust me , it wasn't a PADI stylee punt.

It just seems like you need a few tips on taking hoses on and off. It's a doddle really. Get a more experienced diver to help, jeez theres shedloads on YD who aree near you who would help out gladly.

If I still had my house in Chiswick I'd have jumped on you (at the chance) I mean

Bed me thinks before I get in any more sh*t

Nighty night night

Old St stn any good for you?
let me know before Thurs pm as I'll need to bring in a couple of spanners and/or some blanking plugs. The 1st stage is suppiled with them, when you add something like a hose the dealer should give them back to you, or if you do it yourself, you keep them safe for future use. I have a load of spare ones.

Matt
