well i think it was about 25............ well ok 25cm mostly never dived in such stuff before! Didn't freak so that was the main objective out of the way. Was not good when we kept getting lost and back at the place we first went despite thinking we were going in the right direction for the other end! Don't blame me, I didn't have the compass! (what is it with men and not asking directions when lost eh ) Did get to see the van and some pipes although saw them a couple of times ......on our attempt to go to another area.... The older gentleman from Wraysbury was pleasant and the temp was 21 degrees so not a bad day's bimbling oh and nice cheesy chips...... (although not sure i like this not being able to see where i'm going melarky! ) Maybe next time, as it is only 30miles away i suppose it'd be rude not to go back even if just for practising in dire vis, i'll ask a DM to show me around the lake instead of turning circles and just concentrating on buoyancy and not swimming into the banks! Oh and to learn how to not have two long surface swims back too!

Oh and my hose was properly attached cheers all. Did get wet arms and some water down the back of the neck so was a half wet jumper competition again but had nothing to do with the hose which was correctly assembled (next mission - become engineer.... )
