| Oh God! I just knew someone was going to say that. ![]() Only one thing for it. Call the guys I bought it from and just hope they sent me someone else's suit in error. Otherwise it may be a long road ahead.

| Undersuit on, drysuit on and squat right down on your hunkers. The legs should fit just ok when you do this. If they are still long when you do it they have stuffed up, I suspect, but try it first before you get despondent.

| Mate of mine used to have a telescopic DUI suit, and as I recall you have to pull the spare material up from around your legs up round your waist (like you're giving yourself a nuclear "drysuit wedgie"), and then fold the excess back over itself towards your feet, so you've got a double layer of material round your waist, then do the crouch strap up. You then effectively have several inches of spare material round your waist, which is where the telescopic comes from. ie when you stretch it uses those few inches, and when you relax the spare bit folds back round your waist. Sorry, but thats a really crap explanation of how I thought my buddy's suit worked. Maybe someone whos got one will be along soon to give clearer instructions! Hope it fits eventually!! Darren

| Thanks for all the above. I shall certainly be trying it on again tonight and doing the squatting/hunkering business. But as DarrenA said above the excess material should be around the waist as I thought; not dangling off the end of my foot. So in all honesty I'm not holding out too much hope. Given that there seems to be an extra ten inches I can't help but wonder if some muppet has read 27 as 37 inches. Oh well. I'll let you all know how it works out in the end.

| OK. I've done all the squatting/hunkering business. As anticipated above all the necessary movement in the suit came from the telescopic waist. The legs have so much material in them that I can double them up over my boots so far that they almost reach the floor. Now this looks quite good in a pin-striped suit sort of way but I'm not convinced its right. Can any DUI types out there comment on this?

| That's not very good, but look on the bright side, its better that there too long than too short! IMHO (and I'm by no way an expert on drysuits) I wouldn't want an alteration to the suit. Surely the knee measurement is made in relation to the full trouser length and 10 inches is a long way out. Good luck.
