| My thoughts on buying dive gear is very simple, always buy the very best that you can afford, no matter the item, It's only money, and you'd spend it on something else which would'nt give you as much comfort or fun.

| thanks jim for your reply. my wife has always said you pay for what you get!!! buy cheap and in the long run you will have to replace sooner rarther than later for instance you wont buy cheap tyres for your car would you enough said andy |

| Hi Andy as long as you are happy who gives a s**t, have fun in it, I have spent far more on lesser things |
| ||||
| Andy, if you can afford it, and you're happy with it, then happy days!! Enjoy

| Oh yes. If it is what you want then go for it. |

| However, the "most expensive" is not always "the best". DUI did have terrible quality issues for a while - earning the nickname "Dry Unless Immersed", I understand. Lots of folks happy with them now, but there are *ver* good and dry cheaper suits too. In my opinion if you can now only afforda cheap wing you may have done you budget balabcning wrong. Why is it "buy best" on the drysuit, but "buy cheap" on the wing? Having said that, if you want a cheap wing the best deals I have seen are Diverite Classic from Go-Dive (Wash my mouth out) or the Buddy Tekwing from most places.

Sorry, that wasn't the point was is ? You've bought a nice suit there, one that I could never afford in a month of Sundays, but you'll enjoy your diving in that! So where are you testing it ?

Yes... Mad probably sums it up quite well. Gullible is even more like it. My diving budget is more generous than most but even I'd not be taken for a ride like that. There. That's what you wanted somebody to say wasn't it? Happy now? |

| My Otter Made to Measure with 200g undersuit was £600. I have not had any opinions on DUI, no experience. However, I agree with what Lou said, you have to balance this against the other kit you would want to buy in the future. It seems a bit steep from seeing other purchases over the last couple of years which people have posted about. Seems you may have been able to get something just as good but cheaper! K XX
