| Wetsuits, Drysuits & Undersuits: Discuss Pinnacle Semi-Drys in the Dive Kit and Equipment forums: Greetings all. Apologies if this has already been asked (I've had a look through past threads but can't spot anything) ... |

| Got the polar based on JBs article when I was looking around for one 18months ago. Great suit |
| ||||
| That suit in the article looks like it really *would* do a good job. I've never seen one with a pull over and press stud hood system though. Seems a neat idea, and you have an extra layer on the shoulder to help cushion the harness

| BJ I note in the article you say the bib bit is rigid does this interfere with mobility at all or comfort. Or did you mean just that bit where it fastens? Must say its a real cool lookin suit |
| ||||
| It is not as rigid as, say, a rigid steel girder, but it is pretty rigid for something made of a rubber-like compound. It was supremely comfortable while wearing it but I would worry if I took it away on a trip in case everyone refused to help me out of it! Also, if you are the least bit over-weight - forget it! Go for one with a zip! (I am , of course, supremely fit, all steel and whipcord, a bit like the Forth Road Bridge and about the same age!)

Now I'm fairly hot-blooded in that I can stomach a couple of dives in 4 degree water in a 7mm without feeling too cold (apart from my hands). Do you reckon it would be realistic for me to get one of these instead of a drysuit? I'm hoping it could save me some hassle and money, especially as I'd need training to dive a drysuit on top of the extra outlay for the suit itself.
