| Hi everyone! The suits pretty new - less than 100dives i would say. The neck seal on it is probably around a year old. I feel the neckseal itself does not need replaced - its not perished at all, is still tight around my neck with lots of snap. I have replaced a few seals over the years so i know when its time for a new neckseal. It is just a normal latex one rather than the heavy duty version. Drysuit is a MTM otter skin so i would say it fits me fine! I generally kit up while sitting, stretch upwards and out with my arms so the suits in the right place. Then tighten the straps and stand up. The reason i feel it it to do with the change in kit is that ive never had that problem with the neck before while wearing lighter kit. Im using a diverite transplate harness (XS and more or less tightned fully) and a s/s backplate. Cheers, Lynsey. |

| It could be the way the harness 'grips' on yoru shoulders. If there is a lot of friction it's more likely to pull down. I use twin 12s and a halcyon harness and the webbing slips to the point where it normally sits so there isn't really any pull on the suit.

If you do go for a neo neck seal I'd recommend the o3 neo ones, they are very good, soft and very stretchy. |
