| Wetsuit Boots - Which Brand? Any advice on which brands are most comfortable / best value etc? I hate my closed fins & want to change to boots and open-toed fins. I've tried on the Beaver wet boots at Divers Warehouse: size 8 pinches my big toe, size 9 is too big... DW also do scubapro ones, but not in my size.

| My Scubapro ones are standing up to use quite well, and my feet don't seem to get cold. But then I dive in a semi-dry and don't feel cold, so what do I know?

| I've got the Oceanic ones and find them comfortable, prefer the ones with the zips.

| I have the same as Fiona. No zips makes them sit under my semi dry without any bulges and are actually quite easy to get on and off. The big rubber sole also doubles as the fin retainer. The Everflex gloves are just as good |

| I used to have Beaver boots but found the seam running up the middle of the boot (ie along the top middle of your foot) very uncomfortable after a while. I currently have Oceanic boots, they seem ok although still not perfect, although I think they may just be slightly the wrong size for me. Getting the right size is very important. Too big and they'll be rubbing your foot as you fin along, and can cause blisters etc after a while... which makes it hard to wear boots at all (I tend to wear socks underneath mine if i'm using them regularly ie warm water holidays) Too small and they're just uncomfortable all the time.
