| While not quite the same, i have a suit that has a thin section of neoprene between the bottom of the leg and the boot, my feet seem to permanantly be damp after dives, not soaking wet though. I assume its this thin neoprene letting water through, there seems to be no other reasons otherwise my feet would be properly wet and not just damp.

| Again not really the same... my Otter suit is fitted with rubber boots with neoprene liner. This gets .... damp with sweat during a full days dive, but not so's you'd notice unless you put your hand down there, and dries completely overnight. However, if you don't fit your neckseal right, and get some water in.... then during your surface interval it's gonna end up down there, and its a real b@std to dry. Don't know if that helps, cheers, Paul |

| I strongly recommend DZ Active Systems those for drying the inside of drysuits. I've got a Northern Diver Divemaster 4mm neoprene suit, and it's a real pain to dry the inside out. Drop a pair of those inside it, and it's bone dry in <24 hours! David |

The undersuit I wear is efficient enough to wick away any moisture away from the body towards the suit. The warmer I am, or the harder i have to work (like lugging the kit around) the damper the suit. I simply use dampire when I take it off and it is dry within hours.

| I've got a DUI drysuit with neorene socks, haven't had wet feet yet. |

| Most drysuits will hold sweat, either on the inside of the undersuit, or between the undersuit and the drysuit itself. Mine was slightly damp after being worn full pretty much a full day at Stoney yesterday. My boots on this suit have the neoprene join between the boot and the leg of the suit, and although the bottom of the boot was dry, the neoprene on the attaching part was just the same as the rest of the suit, ever so slightly damp with the wicking effect.

| I have the crushed neoprene DUI socks on my Otter and they are dry. Sounds like maybe a join leak or pinhole. .

| A buddy of mine Rod,(RoderB), has been diving with a Whites Catalyst for sometime now.He is delighted with it,and it seems to be an excellent suit. Certainly he has absolutely no problems with condensation,or leakage into the neoprene socks from any route.Mind you the Whites suits have an effective barrier in the form of gaters around the ankle, and he wears ankle weights too. Contact SDS and ask their opinion. |
