Lightbulb Drysuit gaiters or gators review

Since I have a in between foot size and a drysuit with boots that aren't?
I've had problems with floaty balloon feet and pop off fins
I tried ankle weights, wearing thick socks and yes they helped a bit, but never really solved the problem

But these did

As they could be adjusted to squeeze the boot to fit nice snug against my foot and calf to leave no spare size for the air to move into
Much to the annoyance of the local lobster population

These on the otherhand weren't as good due to being non-adjustable and I sent them back

I use the OMS ones...3 elasticated strap round the back with quick release buckles...full adjustable and very comfortable. About £35 ish from divers warehouse.

I use neoprene socks. No floaty feet. Fiver from Decathlon. Stick a pair of £35 ND Jetfins on your feet and you don't need ankle weights either.

The gaiters make you look like you should be cossack dancing.

The answer is simple!

YOU DO NOT NEED GAITERS!!!

I have half size feet, have boots the right size and a dry suit that fits me.

Ankle weights, gaiters?? Pah!!!

Don't you change your underwear from winter to summer then?

Never bother underwear sommer or winter.

What has that to do with gaiters, or are you just curious?

Unfortunely it was autumn when I brought my drysuit and all the leaves on the money tree I keep up my arse had fallen off, so I had to get the standard off the peg suit, otherwise I would had got a fitted one with jet boots
