Thermal Underwear Choices

OK, so have decided to get myself a decent set of thermal underwear to replace my undersuit because what I currently use (cheap sports top/trousers)is just not warm enough. I know O3 do the PBB and there's Fourth Element, but can anyone recommend any other makes/brands that are similar (and possibly cheaper!) to the above?
I have tried with my existing thinsulate, but I get too hot in the thinsulate (200 gram) and cold quickly in the thermal undersuit. What I think I need is something in-between. There's loads of thermal underwear on eBay (designed for fishermen etc) - has anyone tried it for diving?
Any help/links/advice gratefully received
Regards
Martin

I found DWH's Cosiwick pretty good as a thermal base layer. (bit cheaper than Forth Ellement). Not used it on its own yet though.

Reed do a set called the chillcheater, similar to the Fourth Element but less pricy - I've got a set, quite good I reckon

there's also the Helly Hansen stuff which is quite well recommended, and also the Patagonia gear is supposed to be really good but not sure about the price of those, they could be a bit more of a premium...

I use Sub Zero technical performance clothing and they keep me toasty warm. Then again I do have quite alot of natural insulation*.

Seems like nice stuff - shame there's no prices!
Do you know anyone that sells them/have any idea of price (probably want the Factor 2)?
Thanks
Martin

You can buy direct by giving them a call. The prices should be on the online store bottom left but I know they are doing a new online store, mainly because I designed their website for them.

The combination of F1 and F2 is about the same as the Xerotherm Arctics, I reckon. Build quality is not quite as good as 4th Element but they are very good at getting wet then drying out fast afterwards as they were designed for climbers etc.

Bantam has the F2 one-piece under his neo suit and apart from looking like a gimp is v.warm in it.

Here you go. F2 prices:
Sub Zero technical performance clothing

Cor. Had forgotten how nice that site is. I must do some more like that.

Many thanks - have some green...well actually, I must spread it around before giving it to Woz again!
Well, I'll keep it storted up for another day.
Regards, and dive safe
