| Neoprene. Don't even consider latex. Soooo much more comfortable. Latex wrist seals, though.

| Well I'd say the exact opposite! Have been using a temporary drysuit which has latex seals and been so pleased about how much easier it is to put on and off and how it feels so much better have had the (new!) neophrene seals on my proper suit changed to latex ![]() |

| Well there you go. After diving a latex neck seal for years, I had a suit with a neo seal. Slightly trickier to get on (but not once you have the nack) and you don't get hangman's neck. Warmer, too.

| My latex neck seal has a neo neck warming outer lining. Best (or worst) of both worlds? Matt |

| I've changed from a latex to a neoprene one and never looked back ( it could let water in I find it a lot easier to get on and off as well, and warmer, and comfier 'n so on ... ColinM

Oh no it doesnt I had it replaced last year. It's my boot and wrist seal that has the puncture repair kit Actually its seal tape and Aquasure, I'll have you know I do a proper job. Matt And the neck seal looks a little frayed again so might need another 'repair' soon. |

| I have just ordered my new drysuit with neoprene neck and wrist seals. The idea being that for my winter bimbles at 6 degrees they will provide a little extra warmth. However the latex seals have served me fine over the last couple of seasons. I know that when you go deep the neoprene compresses and that the extra warmth benefit is negated, but at the stops that will return. |

I don't think latex provides any insulation at all. ColinM
