Imported post If the KY works, why change it? If you do try E45, make sure it is water based or the seals will corrode away.

Imported post The KY works as a lubricant only whereas the E45 is there to help with the skin rash(apply it till it's been absorbed).I don't think that the E45 should be harmfull to latex (I have a feeling it's H20 based)and I've never known anyone have any probs with it.Hobby.

Imported post Hey, that reminds me of a joke! Innocent and naive young lady goes to work for a theatre company as a general assistant type person. Now, the actors she was working with were of course all made-up when on stage. And one of them things they had to tart up a bit was their hair. But most hairsprays and gels were just too unreliable, what with the heat from the lights and the sweat and all. So instead of the more conventional stuff, they used KY jelly to keep their styles in place. Being so innocent, the young lady had no idea that KY jelly was anything other than a hair care product. So when they ran out of KY one day, she thought nothing of it when they asked her if she'd mind nipping down to the shop to get them some more. So off she trotted, but when she got to the store, her exhaustive search of the hair care section revealed no KY. So she grabbed a shop assistant and asked him if they sold KY. "Umm.. yes, we do" he said, a little surprised. "I'll be happy to go and get it for you. How much do you want?" It was a very long time before the young lady understood the stunned look he gave her when she replied "I need enough KY to last for a weeks worth of performances for five men."
