Have you had a look at Otter, quite a few of us on here use them, and their customer service is excellent.
Personally i have the brittanic which if i remember rightly (which is not guaranteed(SP?)) cost £560 MTM plus withundersuit but they do do cheaper models

i have heard from various people that the scubapro suits (wet and dry) aren't that good - the workmanship can be a bit poor. all i can say from my own experience that my scubapro reg bag came apart pretty quickly!

Kate,
I went for the O'Three MSF 500, unfortunately it's just out of your price range at £560. But IMHO they are very nice suits.

O'Three

Is it a bit cold in your 5mm wetsuit at the moment?

Hi Essex girl &nbsp;

Hows it goin? As you know I'm in the same situation. I narrowed it down to two suits an Otter membrane and a Northen Diver Compressed Neoprene. Was all set to buy the Otter and then someone brought up the whole neoprene v membrane debate again. So my conclusion ?

I'm going to do the course with a centre who will let me try a membrane and a neo, then decide between the two suit mentioned above. The reason I got down to those two was that they are both UK small companies specialising in Drysuits with good reputations for quality and customer service. This I reckon is very important cos a drysuit ain't cheap and seals do wear out and you may want alterations so these kind of companies can accomodate such things.

See ya lata (ITS FRIDAY....me lost the plot)

Conor

<font color='#000080'>I had an Oceanic a couple of years ago, can't remember the exact model but it was replaced by the Flex. Very good suit, sold it on and as far as I know still going strong.
Have used Otter and they are OK they normally get a good write up and customer care is very good.
The main problem with any of them is fit, definitely worth the extra for mtm for those of us less fortunate, who unlike like your good self don't have classic model proportions.

There are a few of us that swear by Aquatek suits from Aqualeisure Watersports - not to be confused with AquaTech - unfortunately don't have a web address for them but phone 01745 815476 if you're interested and need info. Good quality suits, excellent after sales and good value but may be slightly over your indicated budget.

Good Luck.
