My wooly bear is not one of the old wooly ones, but material like a weezle and it is nowhere near as wet and I am more than comfortable and dry in between dives and on 2nd and third dives.

I just think people are trying to "sell a design fault as a benefit".

Unless of course the kind people at Weezle want to persuade me otherwise. I am open to persuasion

I too can vouch for their effectiveness. I had a suit flood up to my knees and only noticed because my feet were soggy (I didn't have the boots). Water temp was 8 deg C and I stayed warm and dry for the whole 45 minute dive and the 35 minute boat journey back.
I had a similar experience in Swanage earlier this month; I didn't roll my neoprene neck seal down properly and spent 40 minutes under the pier filling up my drysuit with sea water!

But my Weezle, surprisingly, was wet on the outside and dry on the inside (apart from my feet/ankles which were immersed in water!)
