| Imported post I've had both - Neo on my old Otter suit & wellies on my O'Three. Can't say I've ever noticed any discomfort in the wellies & I'm less worried about wear and tear nowadays. Go for the wellies. Just as an aside, turned on 't telly half an hour ago to watch Das Boot, fondly imagining it to be a documentary about my favourite subject: Boots. Preferably knee-high, leather, female legs for the cladding of & very much in vogue at the moment I'm delighted to say. Imagine my distress when I found out it was a badly dubbed film all about a bunch of sweaty beardy Cherman types in a submarine. I shall write a letter to Rupert Murdoch just as soon as I've finished watching it. Got to be some gurly leather action in there somewhere Answer The Balloon Rob |

| Imported post <font color='#F52887'>Hi Kate, sorry only just found this, i have the neoprene lined ones, i don't get floaty feet and thet are comfy and warm, personally i have noticed them not a painfree as walkingboots when clambering across rocks (but then they aren't walking boots), I tried on all the options in the shop and went with what i felt was comfiest. IMO the heavy duty ones do feel heavy duty but also huge and clompy on small feet (you a 5 like me?), anyway just my tuppence worth, don't know if it helped but pm me if you want to know anymore. Mary

| Imported post <font color='#000080'>cheers for all the replies - on the advice of the better half i've decided to go for the heavy duty ones for the extra toughness. will just have to line them with lots of layers and hope that they're not too clompy and rigid to be comfortable! looks like i might have to buy some new fins too, if my current ones are too small for the boots.... any suggestions?! |

| Imported post <font color='#000080'>Buy some Jetfins from NDiver (39 quid incl del) and some spring straps from me (negotiable).... Also get some sockettes when you buy your SubZero stuff then you'll be all toastie when diving with me in the SOM.
