Convince me to buy your suit

Everyone likes the suit they have bought. There's a phrase for it somewhere- I think it's retrospective justification. Anyway. The current suit is still going well considering I paid a whopping £100 for it. An Otter Hammerhead. Dry and comfy. However I can see it coming towards the end of its life so need convincing which new suit to get. Here's what I want from one:

Neoprene neck seal
HD cone latex wrist seals
Front loading zip or convenience zip for popping Little Woz out for a wee
Telescopic body
Tough and flexible
Reasonably light for travelling
Comfy to wear all day in the RIB
Thigh pockets, velcro closing, outside of each leg, wetnotes pocket behind one of them
Internal braces
MTM my lovely svelte frame

Not made up my mind about the boots yet- either cuban heeled dancing wellies or floppy leg ends with seperate outer boots.

So. Convince me that the suit you bought is brilliant and worth spending the money on.

If you want a dry suit, go see O'Three.

Theirs really are dry suits.

And if you tell them what you want, you will get it.

hat suit is a mtm protec dui copy, i had mine its the muts nuts, i wish i had one years ago, end of and for the price as well its a superb bit of kit, you wont regret the telescopic torso, its an amazing idea oh and its double sealed on the wrists so it can be dry gloved at any time, for the price i think the quality of build is unbeatable

A protec will meet all of those requirements save the wetnotes pocket - which I'm sure they'd be happy to add. In detail...

Neoprene neck seal - done with latex but you could swap it out.
HD cone latex wrist seals - Manchette Wrist seals not a proble,
Front loading zip or convenience zip for popping Little Woz out for a wee - Front loading
Telescopic body - oh yes
Tough and flexible - Two weights 1. uber light and flexible. 2. tougher but still very flexible.
Reasonably light for travelling - mine weighs nothing and drys in ten mins
Comfy to wear all day in the RIB - I usually leave mine done up all day
Thigh pockets, velcro closing, outside of each leg, wetnotes pocket behind one of them - two velcro ockets on hips
Internal braces - yes
MTM my lovely svelte frame - all are done MDM

All of this done for about 700 quid and built made to measure and delivered to your door in about a week. Hows that for a slice of fried gold.

Protec won't fit a neo neck seal. Why? Dunno. Polar Bears appear to tick all the boxes. Janos has just got a lovely one.

Seaskin will do all that and they aren't far from you, give Richard a call and save yourself £200.

it suprises me about the neck seal as they seemed to be very accomadating in every single way i asked and went out of their way to ensure it was perfect

Yep accommodating in every single way apart from fitting a neo neck seal.

That describes my seaskin almost to a tee. Although I've only done 12 dives in it, I am still dry and happy thus far. I didn't realise how bad fit and maunfacture quality my old ND suit really was until i got the new one!
