xerotherm arctics - just changed to them, dropped a load of lead and much more comfortable.

hi there,
just can't get my head bye not using my weezle under my oceanic flexia.I dive coastal & sea lochs in Scotland,it's a balmy 13c just now,but that will change very quickly,as a club we dive all year round.
I love the idea of diving with artics for the flexibility, and the ability to lose some lead, normal dives can be up to 1 hr x 2,would that be covered by using artics,+ thermals?.only the dead of winter forces me into my chillcheaters under the romper!!
Fraser.

Any suggestions where is the best place to get the Xerotherm Artics? I quite fancy some myself.

PS - Also just put in an order for the Seaskin Nova this morning!

For me the best place is the one which has them in stock

Have you tried your LDS ?

Otherwise I would think most places do them.

Divelife stock them as does Mark Powell

How about ordering direct from Fourth Element, ordered last Tuesday and they were on my doorstep on Wednesday. Great service.

Adam, I have Artics and Xerotherms, dived all summer in the Xerotherms but getting ready to dive the Arctics through the winter and spring. and if I get cold in the arctics I can add either a base layer or the xerotherms. that is much more flexible than a babygrow quilt that takes a load of led to sink. How did you get on with the exrotherms at the weekend?

Granted i use a neoprene suit of late but i have used the Artics in my previous membrane suit. They worked fine but to be honest they seem well over priced for what in effect are fleecy pyjamas with the the words "Fourth Element" written on them.
In my current suit i use a pair of ron hill tracksters which cost me £11 and a micro fleece from crag hopper that cost me £12 from TK Maxx, thick walking socks £5 warm as toast total cost £28 and you can only just buy "Fourth Element" socks for that sort of money.
I miss my jumper that my granny knitted me that was really warm
