Stiff drysuit zip

Another drysuit question,shoulder zip is quite stiff,seems to be a build up of bees wax,any suggestions to a way of freeing it off or am I looking at a new zip?

I bought some of that beaver zip lube stuff when mine got stiff. I let it run into the zipper mechanism itself, keeps it nice and lose

Or a hairdrier. The warm air will soften it up, an then if you open & close the zip, it will even out the wax.

Few good methods that the others have said.

I found that using beeswax wasn't really giving me the lubing that I desired so I ditched it and started using proper zip lube after that. MUCH better. I'd definitely recommend it!

Yep the Beaver ziplube stuff is ace. I've used it for a long time now and everyone comments how silky-smooth the zip is. That's why now lots of people in the club use it. We're now the silky-smooth zip club.
