| If you can squeeze an extra £25, i'd recommend (as will others) the Outer Edge suit. Click HERE for info. For £465 you get an undersuit too. |

| .....and as fuggnuts says, you get an outer edge (see diver mag - got a good review) for not too much dosh. You will probably get views from lots of people. just one other thing, if you can, have a try dive in what you intend to buy and that really will help you make your mind up.

| I bought a neo body glove for my wife. I was quite impressed with it and to my knowledge it has never leaked which is far more than i can say for my 03 Neo. I used the 5mm 03 neo MSF which was about £550 I think for an off the shelf size. Excellent suit, very warm in the cold winter months. I got a 5mm semi compressed after that which is also 03. They called it the Lycra and i don't think they make it any more. Te MSF was warmer but a lot stiffer. The Lycra is much more flexible and still gives a fair bit of warmth. I dived my new overseas membrane suit (Hammond light weight cost about £450) in wraysbury the other day and I was stunned how damed cold it was with my normal 200g under suit. Not sure Ill ever go back to membrane in the UK but they are much much better for travel. 03 8.5Kg Hammond light weight 2kg. ATB Mark

| I like my O3 MSF500 but it has to go unfortunately - I bought a twinset a couple of weeks ago and I can't reach the valves or manifold in it. Unless I find something better value I'll going for the Seaskin membrane with their made to measure undersuit... |

Id go for a compressed neo first to sort of ween your self off being warm But your spot on about shutdowns, the MSF is a stiff suit so if you struggle it makes things worse. ATB Mark
