Bare Drysuits

Not that I am in the market, but what do people think of the new Bare drysuits ? I saw my first one in the flesh last weekend, and was quite impressed by the suit. It looks a little weird, as they have actually put a seamed fold in the bottom of the telescopic part which makes the suit look like a two piece drysuit, or a dinner jacket, but it looks a very clever design and a pretty good bit of kit to me, especially if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the DUI suits.
Anyone got one out there in YD land ?

excellant suits and very good value for money compared to many others out there.
After sales service can be a bit prolonged as the suits have to go back to the factory in malta but then again you only need a good after sales service if you get a lot of returns and i have never heard of a bare suit going wrong.

i ve had my XCD2 for a long time now and its the best £600 ive spent

Great siuts - use one myself and sell them in my shop. Never had any returns. Best suit I've ever used.

Ratty

I have a Bare wetsuit, and Ice boots (they are the DB's), and a 'few' pairs of gloves, ooh, and chicken vest - they are all great bits of kit.

They all stand up well to the amount of abuse I give them (And no I don't look like a walking ad for Bare! I wouldn't dare wear them all at the same time )

When I change my drysuit next, I will give serious consideration to the Bare ones too.

Change your drysuit ? You need to dive in cold water first!

Trust me - February (when I get back) to the at least mid-May is drysuit for me, and only then do I get shamed into my 7mm semidry
