| Having never seen a thinsulate would a Santi 400g be as thick as a Weezle Extreme plus or thinner? Are they as flexible? My Weezle extreme plus 3 thermal underlayers just isn't doing it so i need to change suit but trying to avoid something so restrictive i cant reach valves.

You won't get much flexibility from a 400gm undersuit, but if it's a good fit it will be less restrictive. I've found I now need less air in my suit to give the valve reach I need. I'll not go back to a Weezle / lofting insulation suit. |

| One good thing about my weezle is that ive not found it in the slightest bit restrictive. Possibly its because its slightly long for me in the body but its been great. Heavier i can cope with (it wont be going abroad) but thickness wise is my main worry - i havent got a lot of room in the suit for anything thicker than a weezle.

| I use a DUI CF200 and in the summer just wear the Fourth Element DryBase on its own but as the temperature drops I will add the Fourth Element Xerotherm Arctic over the top of the base layer and thats all I need to stay toasty and this doesnt restrict movement at all for me so I can still reach all the valves on my twinset and my rebreather. |
