Just for Nigel (ok, for me) I put and extra base layer on today (T-shirt style) going for the multiple thin layer approach, and dry gloves

So, a T shirt style base, a thin top and leggings base layer and set of Artics & dry gloves with fleece gloves below.

9oC in the shallows 8oC at depth. It was 60mins before I felt cold, and left the water after 74 mins, so was cold but not uncomfortably so. I didn't even fin about on the stops

Resurrecting this old thread again.

Is there a UK Santi dealer? Im more and more interested in the 400g suit but their website search for dealer thing just dies when i look for a UK supplier.

So who is the UK seller ? Also is the crap pound:euro rate currently going to make it more expensive than normal.

As a cheap alternative, a friend recently recommended M&S thermals to me for skiing. Had a look, and they do merino wool long sleeve tops, nice and soft with no lumps / zips / etc that inevitably (I find) dig into me, and only £15. A bargain I thought! They do trousers and short-sleeve tops and all sorts of other stuff too.

Should be fine for diving too, though you'd probably want something else with it in the winter.
