getting it off

I have a seaskin membrane suit. I have a pocket on the right leg but just a knife holder on the left leg. The knife holder was glued on by Seaskin. I'd like to take that off and out a pocket on the left side as well. any ideas as to whether this is a DIY project?

Sorry have not a clue. Just waiting for stesh to post a pic of some dastardly cutting/slashing tool. Still have a bump instead.

You should be able to use a pair of pliers to pull it off. The Northern Diver website had a "how to" guide on this once upon a time. I tried looking just now but couldn't find it again.

Pliers sounds good, a project for tomorrow, I guess a little warming first with hairdryer may help?

I have access to some pretty powerful solvents, I'd start with something weak like ethanol, and see if that softens the glue a little, just don't want holes in the membrane which I sense my chloroform might produce!
