The harness break is an interesting conundrum .... there's plenty who say one is not required but plenty who find one invaluable.....I don't dive off ribs in this country so can;t comment but have never needed one abroad.

As to D-rings, one, correctly placed, which you can reliably "hit" is a lot more use than a gaggle [1] of incorrectly placed ones.

Had you thought about coming to the Discover DIR day at Stoney, at all?

Mal

[1] The really is[2] the correct term for multiple D-rings on a harness
[2] Ok....I made that up !

i find myself agreeing! I wouldn't want to be without my break. I just makes it so much easier to get it off - even on dry land.

I have 4 d rings. one on each of the harness straps at a sensible height, and one on each side of the waist strap. I know what goes on each of them, and i know exactly where they are. If there was any more, they would interfere with each other.

Actually, most of the d-rings on my harness are redundant, but like you Morag, I love the break.

Anyhoo, 5 weeks and 6 days til I get my suit!

I just don't know what to say H, I am shocked and fearful of your future

It's not that you got a membrane Drysuit, nor the fact that it is a black drysuit (Ok, I am a bit concerned about that), nor that you resisted wearing your tanks the correct way around, but the fact that you have made little attempt at assuming the tempters that you are NOT interested in the GUEy side is really worrying.

Aaron, please stop her!

Too late,

Helen bought a stage off me, not like any ordinary stage with ordinary gas.

A 'pre-med' If you like

*subliminal mode on*

You find all the d rings annoying and really could do without the clip, Not to mention the double ender on your long hose

*subliminal mode off*
