SiTech Valves
for no other reason other than choice, I want to remove my SiTech valves (both) and replace with new Apeks ones

the inflater seems to just swivel round and round, any hints on removal please?

Also please note, two SiTech valves for sale shortly, as new

My shoulder dump was glued on well and truly so I smashed it off with a hammer. I didn't get much when I sold it.

Gary,

I replaced Nic's Si-techs off her Outer Edge suit with Apeks valves. Don't recall them being too problematic other than removing the back cover almost shredded my pinkies !!! Pretty sure they didn't rotate through a full 360 degrees, more like 350. Shouldn't be too much of an issue as long as you get the back cover off.

Complete piece of cake! I whipped mine off in a second...


(for a second read... "spent ages wrestling with the bloody thing before posting on here and realising they were probably glued on... Attacking it with a stanley knife and screwdriver got it off without any problems at all...... Other than jabbing a hole in the suit... Ooops!)

All was fine when I got the new one on though.... (and had the hole mended by Scapa Scuba whilst I was up there and fed up with it leaking!)

Don't follow my example!

There's a tool that makes life easier and "grips" the little bits of plastic that stick out around the rim on the two parts.
