| Drysuits - DUI or OThree Being in the market for a new drysuit, I've narrowed it down to either DUI or OThree. Anyone have any opinions, differences between the 2? Basically, i'm after a Neoprene, MTM, long lasting suit. I am slightly put off the DUI by the rockboot system so am leaning towards the O3 should I be worried about this? If OThree, is there much of a difference between the MSF and the RI 2/100, i'm led to believe the RI material is thinner and more flexible? Cheers Guys |

| I suspect that you have opened the floodgates now. I have an O3, 2/100 off the peg drysuit which I bought 2 years ago. It has travelled, instructed etc with me and is extremely hard wearing. Also O3 have brilliant customer service. The 2/100 is more flexible, I found particularly around the shoulders... |

| Pity, any sensible person goes to Otters for a membrane

| I would strongly recommend that you get one from the local boys. Correct fit and after sales service are very important and it is so much easier if they happen to be vaguely near.

| O'Threeeeeee That is my preference, anyway, although from what i have seen the DUI seem to be good. O'three, for me, anyway, win hands down on the quality of their suits and their after sales service. I stay warm in mine, and it is a Dry Suit, not a 'bit damo in some areas but at least I don't need a towel' suit or an 'oh hell, I am wet again' suit. I had the MSF, but much prefer my thinner, RI 2/100 mtm Calling Scuttler Calling Scuttler

| Pros and cons to both, but theres a lot to be said for being able to drive to the manufacturer if things get desparate.

| Cheers Guys. I was after a Neo for a couple of reasons, I've had a Membrane previously and found it to restrictive (1st suit, probab;y down to being badly fitted) and Dive a neo at the moment and find it very warm and very flexable. Its definatly looking like the O3 at the mo. Do DUI even do a MTM service?? Rob, I am slim, 6ft. You have me very intrested. PM me with details please !! |
