| I'm thinking of getting some dry gloves and the consus so far seems to be that Rolocks are the winners - a few questions: -can they be fitted to neoprene wrist seals? - No, not as far as I know -are they a permenant addition or could i revert to neoprene / no gloves for the tropical summer that i'm sure is coming. Yes they can be removed as that is what I did for the summer and for my trip on Tala in November - is dexterity a problem or does practice solve this? i'm thinking camera buttons and reel / learning to use a spool? I use a spool and shoot with an SLR so there isn't a major issue. Once the water compresses the airspace, they add a little bulk but nothing that can't be sorted with practice. I think there was something about the ND glove system recently which said that you could use them with neoprene seals.

As Gareth said there's no major issue with dexterity - you just need to practice and get used to them |

| The ND ones come with a thing you paint on the outside of the neo seals to form a smooth surface.

| Have to confess I am a devout fan of my rolocks and just leave them in place when drying wet gloves. The rings are initially a little conspicuous due to the bulk but you soon even forget they are there. I for one find the dry+liner solution more nimber than a bulky wet glove, but then I'm odd. |

| the dexterity couldnt be worse than the numb hands that i had last night i suppose. I'll have a look at the ND gloves, the previous thread seemed to suggest that the ND gloves were alot more fiddley to get on / off but again maybe practice sorts this. |

| Id say the don/doff on the ND is possibly the easiest ive seen. Simply line up, slot in and rotate a wheel - bayonet fitting.

| does anyone else use these with inverted 12s - i'm wondering id the ring is going to get in the way of reaching the isolator. (please dont let this yurn into an inverts are the devils spawn etc |
