Lightbulb drysuit recommendations

I currently have a northern diver dive master drysuit (neo) which im happy with

But im wanting a new dry suit for several reasons

Being 6'2'' when i tried shutdowns on a dry suit it felt restrictive and was hard to do. this is prob due to it being off the peg and if i hada went much larger to get the height it would have been to baggy and hard to stay warm.

Im interested in possibly going down the membrain route but dont no any1 who has a membrain suit to ask them what the benifits are and what the recommendations are!

Im looking a suit that will do

6'2'' tall
36 waist
42 chest
and not too restrictive.
Most importantly around £500-600

Also being in northern ireland is there any places to get MTM.

look forward to the feed back

Thanx

Gaz

Seaskin will do MTM, and they will talk you through it by the sounds of it. Oh, and way under budget.

Personally I won't dive membrane any more, because I can't stay warm enough in a membrane suit with the thickest undersuits and drygloves. So now I have neo and I am a lot warmer all the time. It's down to personal preference.

Seaskin do MTM membrane and neo, and having seen the membranes they've done I'd happily order either.

Digs.

After being a neo convert for a couple of years, I've just ordered a Seaskin MTM membrane to allow me to do shutdowns. Will keep you all posted. 3 weeks til delivery...

That's worth noting, my Outer Edge just took 2 days. But then I suppose I don't need MTM because I'm normal height

Just don't buy a MTM Otter Britannic, unless you want three ill fitting suits for the price of one and can't be arsed with shutdowns.

technically its rubber and not membrane.
Its heavy... tho for me its not restrictive (im 5ft8 and the suit would probs fit you!!!)

The good thing is theres a bit of flex cos its rubber...

but of course for every customer that has a problem there will be an equal number of very satisfied customers.
