FOURTH ELEMENT XEROTHERM
PEE VALVE HOLE APPLICATION
Dear Customer
I have enclosed two strengthening rings — you only need one, but just in case.....
Please be careful not to melt the xerotherm fabric — you can always apply more heat and pressure, but once melted, they are finished!
Please note, this application is at your own risk.
How to apply the strengthening ring:
Iron needs to set on hot, just below maximum temperature.
Cover fabric with 2/3 sheets of plain paper, or sheet of card and press iron for 5 seconds to warm; avoiding any direct contact with the fabric.
Place ring, backing side up in position.
Cover with 2/3 sheets of plain paper, or sheet of card
Press iron onto area avoiding any direct contact with the fabric for 10-12 seconds.
Leave to cool for 30 seconds or so and peel backing away. If the ring is not securely applied or not coming away from the backing — re heat and press with iron again through the paper for a further 5 seconds.
Once the backing has been removed and the ring is secure, a small hole can be made with sharp scissors.
Any problems or queries please do not hesitate call me on 01326 241404. Best regards
Jim Standing

I just pushed a hole through using a soldering iron. Same way I made a hole in my drysuit to fit the pee valve in the first place.

Why two rings, sounds like if you make a mistake you don't need the second ring.
