P Valve - washer?

Hi,

I recently brought a balanced P valve from Mr Knackers (one of the £40 balanaced ones). I fitted the valve to my suit and the valve has been great.

I have just purchased a new suit so I have taken the valve off of my original suit in order to fit to the new one.

My question is : I can not remember if there was a small "washer" that sat on the inside of the suit between the valve and the suit?

Ont the inside of my old suit where i have removed the valve the material is perfectly smooth - i think it is just where the aquasure i used to seal it has been pressed perfectly flat but though i would check,

many thanks in advance for any replys,

There's no washer on the inside, just a big one on the outside.
