| Getting my knob out for a wee There's no delicate way of asking this. I'm getting a new suit. A front loader. One of the options from Seaskin is a convenience zip. Now. As you all know I have a Very Small Penis. So the question is- on a front loading suit with a telecopic body, can you get "Little Woz" out of the main zip for a wee? Or should I get a convenience zip fitted? Am not bothered about a pee valve as I can hold onto my wee and would rather not gaffer tape my chopper. Can always add it later. ???????

| It can be done, but if you leave the collar on, from behind you'll look like you're "knocking one out" - - So no change there then!! ![]()

| I have had a couple of suits with "piss zips" and have never wanted to use them. The edges of the zip are a bit rough and the zips are quite stiff and uncomfortable. (In the cold when its shrunk its hard to avoid a little splashing as well...) I'd rather roll the suit down meself. Chris

| I wouldn't bother with the extra convenience zip, but I would get the p valve fitted. The method you describe will work ok but probably not the best solution. Keeping hydrated is a good idea to avoid DCS and with the p valve you don't have to worry about holding it in holding it in either on the surface or during the dive. The extra "hassle" is ok really. Seaskin are fitting the Halcyon p valve which is very good if expensive. Oxycheque do a cheaper one as does Nackers. Having looked at the seaskin at the weekend it does look a nice piece of kit and if I would to buy another drysuit would probably get one (fitted with the halcyon p valve). |

| I'm pretty convinced that "convenience" zips are a load of shite. The few people I knew with them have moved to p-valves. |

yes you can. Just. Oh course it won't help if you're Jewish.. seriously - you can just - but it does depend on the cut of the suit.

| Righty-ho. Will endeavour to poke the wee chap through the main zip. Wish me luck. Here's a question- rather than having the main zip go from left shoulder to right hip, how about if it went from left shoulder to the middle instead just above my todger? It's a telescopic suit so I should be able to frumple it down a bit to get Little Woz out.

if you are worried about it - I find it much easier when 'plumbed in ' as the catheter will give you an additional 3 to 4 inches to poke over the top of the zip - plus you don't have to squat in the shallows with everyone shouting "we know what you're doing.. Woz is having a wee wee".

| True but if I am just arsing about for a quick dive then I really don't want to be gaffer taping my chopper into a catheter. "Shaved to the base" I believe is the vernacular. Eeek. Then again I won't be needing a wee for a short dive. It's really more when you are spending a day out on the RIB or a hardboat than going for a wazz in the water.
