I used to have similar problems with intermittently getting wet down my front around the inflator area. Turned out to be the neck seal.

You sure it's not the neck seal? That is EXACTLY where I got wet when I had a small hole in my neoprene neck seal. Around the collar was bone dry.

Yeah, same here, but since I had the neo fitted, not a problem.

Interesting point, I was and still am pretty sure that my latex seal is dry whilst I can't say it's never the neck what I can say is that on 2 occasions I have felt (big time) the spray across my chest as I have descended feet first down a shot line and pressed the inflator to slow my descent/take off the squeeze.

So I'm pretty convinced the problem was to do with the inflator, whether somehow I wasn't connecting the hose correctly I don't know but I have seen the suit pressure tested twice and the only thing that showed up was a really tiny little leak on a seam, so tiny that I'm sure in the normal course of events I could not have been able to tell the difference between it and sweat. I really think the suit is very well made, with good quality service.

So far I have only dived it once since the new valves were fitted and that was dry, lets wait and see what happens over the next couple of weeks. I'm due to dive in Wraysbury on the 9th and 19th March, then proper sea dives 21st and 24th so I expect I'll have a better view after those.

Watch this space.

Really obvious question, but have you checked your inflator hose? O-ring in decent condition?
