| Should I buy this BARE wetsuit? I was passing the Suunto shop in Hurghada yesterday and only popped in to look at 5mm suits as I have put my backside through my ten year old Mares 5mm semi-dry. Amir, the owner, gave me several suits to take home to try in the comfort of my home which I thought was nice. None fitted but I liked the feel of the Bare wetsuit and checking their website found a more suitable size which Amir dropped round to me 10.30pm last night on his way home. 10 out of 10 for service! This one feels so comfortable and stretchy but I have never heard of this BARE make before. We are limited to choice of suits to buy here and a lot of divers have their suits made to measure near Hurghada airport or buy them back in Europe. I think the made to measure ones are 3mm or 7mm and I like 5mm for diving in 26 degrees and more. This is the suit I am thinking of buying BARE Scuba Diving - Europe and the price is 210 Euros. I am in no hurry but would prefer to have a suit in the cupboard ready incase I want to join friends at short notice out diving. Does anyone have any experience of this suit and is the price right? Thanks in advance

| Hi Georgina I dive a Bare, indeed that same suit, they are great wetsuits and are seen widely here as they are made in Malta. I also have gloves, rash vest, chicken vest, and the 'Ice boot's' have really sturdy soles for shore diving. The girlie fit one's are good, as opposed to squeezing into a blokes shape one as Maltese ladies tend to have bigger hips and bums than us I'm not sure about the price, I bought mine last year and we get 'Instructor Exchange' for them and get a discount, but it sounds good to me (I've just had to convert the Euro's to Maltese Liri and then to Pounds ).The only thing that annoys me about mine is that I find it constricts me around the throat when walking to and from the dive site, but I think that is because I mainly dive a 7mm semi, and that has a zip on the throat, so maybe you should try wearing it for a while and bending over to see if it does the same. You shouldn't be disappointed with it though, they are very good. Sue PS It's warming up here too, but not enough for a 5mm for me quite yet

| Excellent suits. The UK distributer is Sea & Sea ltd. When I replace my current suit - I will be going BARE!
