DRY SUIT VIRGIN

What should I do?

My old wetsuit is getting a bit stiff and tatty (so am I).

Do I buy a new wet suit or change to a drysuit?

I've logged over 1000 uk wet suit dives in past 37 yrs, is it now time for a change?

Ps - I don't do cold ponds.

I guess the question to ask yourself is: Are you happy diving wet?

If yes - continue to do so and get something familiar

if no - then you will find lots of really good info on drysuits on here. have a quick peruse to get up to speed and then ask away..

Could you get in touch with a local club and see if you could do a drysuit orientation in the pool.

We run these regularly at our club, to give members a chance to get used to a drysuit and see if they like them. I think there is a nominal charge, but it would be worth it to get the feel of it?

But good on you, there's no way I would dive in winter in this country in a wetsuit!
