When I had the rock boots on my ole DUI, I did find my feet got colder as I didn't have any air migration to them, the cuban heeled dancing whellies on the Otter are warmer but my feet tend to end up out the boots half way up the leg whic h makes finning interesting. Try a pair of neoprene socks (the type fishermen use). I've heard they are nice and warm, Xerotherm socks are also lurvely.
I used to use neo socks in the wellies and they were toastie.

Hint for your wellies- get a pair of those old fashioned fin keepers like the photo below. Put them on over your wellies (I leave them on permanently) and they hold your feet really securely in your wellies. Beaver flog them.

Fin hint no 2:
Have trouble getting your fins off at the end of a dive? Buy one of those shoe cleaning sponge things and give the inside of the foot pocket a wipe over. Hey presto! No more sticky fins.

Dear Auntie Woz,

I have real trouble getting the scum out of my Kettle. Do you have any tips that might help?

Dear Auntie Woz,

After many years of playing Dungeons and Dragons - I have decided to give my gaming pieces a spruce up.. any ideas on how to remove the years or grime from them?

BTW - like fin tip 2..

1. Throw your kettle away and buy a new one from Asda for 9.99.

2. Throw them all immediately in the bin and spend the time saved in cleaning them by going out and meeting real people. If you are really lucky one of them may be female and let you touch her boobies.

Woz

You could try Cloggs - Converse - All Star - All Black

There were mentioned on another thread and seemed to get good results. Alternatively the heavy duty Scuabpro wetsuit boots seem to work quite well.

Would be interested to see your suit as it sound like what I will be ordering from Richard later this year, to replace my existing suit.

Hmmmm Converse might work if only for the comedy value. I wonder if they do them in pink?

Me a kit tart - never

The Protec is lasting well despite the amount of abuse its gets diving. I would like it a little larger in the shoulders and the shoulder dump a little higher and further round the arm but apart from that its pretty good. Whilst I could move the dump valve, getting more room in the shoulders isn't going to happen. Proably keep the protec as the Summer suit.

I saw Edward's are Wraysbury recently I really liked the look of it. I can then spec it up the way I want it- p valve, rockboots, attached hood etc, plus get it sized exactly how I want it. If they are as good as everybody seems to think then price is great. It then gives me a winter suit and a spare when I need it. I would prefer to buy British if possible rather than look at going DUI. They might be superbly made but I cannot warrant the cost when a seaskin is 1/3rd the price.
