Looks like people are saying seals are the main problem (neck and wrist) I did actually mean this in my 'material' question - So maybe I'll rephrase and add on -

What seals do you find leak less neoprene or membrane type?

I have a neo neck seal and latex wrist seals. I went this way because the neck seals were a touch too fragile for my ham fisted attempts at getting the suit on and off. However, on the plus side I have found that the neo neck seal leaks less than the old latex one

The shape of the wrist seals can also affect the 'leakability' of them. The 'bottle' shaped ones seem to leak less.

Hope this helps,

Ben.

I too have neo neck, much more comfortable, no neck rash and tough as old boots. Latex wrist seals, tho I too have the skinny wrist and tendon problem, see last thread re. apollo bio-seals, not good for latex. Just have to avoid excessive wrist action........
