Question Drysuit Pockets

I went and got measured for my new drysuit on Friday - Membrane Predator -superb looking suit and excellent service from Dennis (Spot on chap).

I've asked for two leg pockets but for them to be put on the side rather than the standard front of thigh position. (Den was happy to do either)

Have I made the right choice or should I be sticking with front of thigh pockets?

I will be diving a wing.(No deco side side slung bottles)

(Neither of my previous suits had pockets so I'm not sure)

Dennis wont be starting yet so I have time to make an alteration if the pockets would be better on the front? I plan to keep a smb and mini reel in one and odds and sods in the other.

Thanks.

Hi Jamie, Some have said that front mounted can interfere with clambering back onto Rhibs.....

So I think side mounted is a smart move, that's what I'm asking for on my Seaskin.

Jamie,
Lots of different views on this one as well, however I prefer them on the side, as TAM says easier for RIB diving, although some do not find it a problem.

For the way I dive, on the side is the best option.
