| My suit has become a teabag..Advise please Hi all, I'm the now sad owner of a Mares (not so) dry suit and its recently become very wet. I'm talking in the space of a few months!!! Having done a pressure test on it, Its leaking everywhere and in places the tape is coming away from the joints. I'm gutted as the suit still looks almost brand new!! So what do I do?? Try and repair it with the use of copious amounts of aquasure?? Send it off to a suit manufacturer and have them try to strip and rebuild the suit?? If so recommendations please. Grit teeth and buy a new one? If so, and I know its a matter of opinion, what are the best choices in the lower end of the market? i.e £350 - £500 I'm already thankful for the help I'm sure I will recieve!! |

| Richard Hurdman the MD is your friend. Prices start at £400 |

| If it's only a few months old, I'd certainly take it up with the manufacturer...but I agree with Ian, Seaskin's-r-Us

| OK, So I have no shame… What is your size? I have a next to brand new Oceanic Aerdura purchased in November and worn about 4 times before I found that it was a fraction too small for me and responsible for preventing me reaching valves. It is absolutely immaculate and would let it go for £350. Size is large with XL boots (10UK). Would suit someone up to 5’10 (I am 6’) and 44” – 46”chest Pics on request. However, to be totally honest, I too would take it up with Mares and complain about the durability (or lack of) on your suit first…. |

| If its just leaking from the seams it should be quite easy to re-stick some new tape to seal it which loads of shops could do for you. If the material itself has become porous then its a dead duck
