Drysuit socks

Hi - I am still trying to sort out a new drysuit and hoped the collective power of this forum would be able to help!

What companies could fit their suits with fabric or neoprene socks? I know of Seaskin, Otter & Polerbear.

I have just emailed Waterproof about their Draco suit for this,

Lastly does anyone have experience with Seaskin, how tough are the fabrics on their membrane suits? Their price seems to be good for a new suit.

Cheer for the help,

Mike

I dived for the first time on Monday with my new polar bear - It has fabric socks and I use a Seac Sub rock boot.

Strange feeling to start with but happy wih the system.

My suit has just gone off to seaskin for neoprene socks to be fitted. I had rockboots on my old DUI so know how well this system can work. Converse boots Cloggs - Converse - All Star - All Blackwork well and they are quite thin in the ankle so less restriction on flexibility so that you have the full range of kicks.

Some divers argue that you only need rockboots for mountains- personally I think they work really well and for shore diving somewhere like chesil they are very useful. Socks do have drawbacks in that you need to be careful not to puncture them but a good changing mat solves that problem.

I just had Otter fit neoprene socks to my Otter Skin suit & they are fantastic. £75 for socks including fitting & a pair of Seac Sub rockboots
