Angry Chuffin' Freezing
I wear a Helly Hansen Lifa Sport base layer and FE Arctics under my membrane suit.

Today after 25min in 10c I was freezing.

Is this exactly what I deserve for not wearing enough or is it because I (have yellow string on my KT reel and) am a big girl?

Are the new FE Sub Zeros much warmer than Artics? I have though about getting just the farmer john to wear instead of the Artic trousers.

I know these things are pretty subjective but all comments are gladly received.

Much much warmer well worth it IMHO i've had suit flood 2 whilst using them as i entered and still been fine to carry on with the dive plus they have pockets

In all honesty that was the major reason i bought them it was the only complaint i had about arctics oh and of course they're new and shiny

What you really should look for is a thinsulate undersuit if you are cold. I wear a 400gram Santi one and if its cold I add a FE artic as a baselayer. The artics are OK as an extra

I was looking at the Sanit 400 too, but am worried about keeping it clean and sweet smelling.

I like the FE because they are washable. But I would look elsewhere...

Wear a base layer under the santi. Then you can regularly wash the base layer and don't need to clean the santi very often.

Does also depend on how long the dive is, your dives are a lot longer than mine and probably Chris's, I am a little cold in a base and arctics but bought one of the 4E sleeveless tops after seeing Al's, which is a nice little bonus.

I get cold because I only dive 3mm gloves

Chris, I am surprised you are "freezing" though, perhaps you are just a big wuss
