    Red Sea November

Im of to Sharm for two weeks in November, my question is as follows

Ive always been to Sharm to before in May to September and have always been more than comfortable in a 3mm Shorty at depths up to 40 metres.

Will i be likely notice much of a difference in water temp by going in November I have looked on annual temp sites and they say an average of 23 degrees which seems pretty warm to me.

Does anyone think I will need to move up to a full suit or will chucking a rash vest in case suffice.

    All advice kindly welcomed

For November, I always take my membrane drysuit - it can get windy and that can freeze you after the dives.

Disclaimer - I have my own 'bioprene' suit.

But I wear shorts n t-shirt until mid Nov, then move to a shortie for the winter.

I've only been there in november and I always take my full suit. It's also worth taking some kind of windbreaker jacket that you can chuck on if its a shortish surface interval.

Very first time I was in Sharm was the first week in December.

I was toasty in a 5mm wetsuit nearly all week until the second/third dives on the last 2 days when I guess I was getting a bit knackered. Felt a bit cool then but luckily had chucked in an old hood and stupid as it looked, wearing the 5mm and hood on the later dives was perfect.
