    Slightly less than Xerotherm Arctics?

I use a Seaskin neoprene drysuit and (from this year) have worn Fourth Element Xerotherm Arctics under it.
I'm happy with this and was lovely in warm in the Farnes in April (8 degrees) when a lot of people weren't.

In general I would say I run hot rather than cold and I'm wondering if I'm going to find the Arctics too warm as we get into the warmer months (e.g. Mull in August?).

If I did want a thinner undersuit layer would the Xerotherms (i.e. not Arctic version) be a good option? Any other suggestions?

    Cheers...

I use a 5mm Neoprene Oceanic suit (nothing special but good none the less). I usually wear Xerotherms year round and sometime a drybase top; rarely feeling the cold.

My wife as an O3 suit with their PPB base layer. The PPB apears slightly thinner, but a little better quallity that 4 Elements offerings (my opinion). Also, the trousers are of a salopete (spelling !!) type and offer a double layer to the chest and dont slip down.

I love my PBB. I do tend to find anything under 12c cold and need to wear additional layers so it may well be suitable for the warmer months that you are talking about, and if its very warm I have known CC to only wear the salopette bit.
Its also useful in the winter because of its thiness and design to wear as a base layer when out walking or I guess if you ski.
Or alternatively if you are divingminxy its acceptable formal wear to parties/ shopping etc!

I'd echo Mrs C's comments. My PBBs are great on their own between May and October. Between November and April I add some Peter Storm Thermals.

I use either a DUI CF200 or DUI CNSe and during the summer I usually only use the drybase layer on its own or possibly the Xerotherm on its own if doing deeper/longer dive.

During the winter I wear the Arctic on its own and so far have never been cold.
Just as I was getting used to yesterday along came today

Just done a nice dive today in the PBB salopettes and Helly Hansen base layer under my seaskin.

The PBBs are ideal summer gear under neo suit. Arctics for winter, PBB for summer. Lovely

    Digs.

I have a Seaskin neoprene too and my regular diving is Farne Islands - at the moment I am using Helly Hansen merino base layer top and bottoms, with a thermal rash vest over the top, are absolutely toasty and then not too hot during surace intervals. Good value too - about £65 for the HH's. I'm going to invest in some Xerotherms for autumn tho.
