Porg, Mary and myself have a set of SubZeros. Have used them myself in Stoney in Feb with an Otter undersuit (a standard thin one, not the commercial or thick one) and not been chilly at all. Mary too. Although I have a slightly biased opinion as I did their website for them. Then again, their dedication to producing top kit it astounding- they even get fabrics specially knitted for them in Leicester rather than buying in rolls of commercially available stuff like Thinsulate.

The Factor 2's wick the sweat away from your body when you are out in the sun so keeps you nice and dry- when I whip off my membrane there is loads of condensation on the inside that I haven't felt.

Tiewrap- if you want to have a shuftie I'll bring them along to the pub on Thu. And you can look at my underwear. Nice.

Fourth Element is lovely and toasty...If the weather is warm just whip off your top (ooer missus!!) and you're fine...

I've got the O'3 PBB with the 5mm Neoprene dry suit. I used both all winter with no problem. On the YD gig in Stoney last year all I had on was a t-shirt and the PBB no problems warm al day..

I use the PBB layer with the O3 artic on top in the winter under my neoprene dry suit (yes, I am a wimp and really feel the cold!).

So far during the summer (!) I have just been wearing the artic and have not been cold at all. Can't comment on just the PBB under my suit as I've not tried it yet.

Me too. Used for six one hours dives in Stoney in Dec, didn't feel cold at all. Under O3 2.5mm suit.

I bought the Artic at the last Diveshow for use under my 5mm ND Neo D/S, loved it, was never cold.

Switched to a 2mm crushed neo D/S and was still never cold.

Use it now under my Tri D/S now along with a 200g U/S and am still never cold

Must be coz I'm a jock

Can't go wrong with the Artic mate, go for it!

Another similar make to consider.....

I am rather pleased with my Waterproof drysuit (it does what it says on the tin!!) and have recently seen their range of underclothes. I have only had a quick look but they seem remarkably similar to the 4th element range, only cheaper.....I will be looking some more soon!! Details are on the CPS Partnerships website
Regards
Mal

Talking Lovely toasty warm hummmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!

In the winter, when I am quarry bound teaching, I wear a Fourth Element leggings and top, over that a Lowe Alpine wick-away trousers and long sleeved t-shirt and then a Fourth Element Arctic top, all under a Weezle Extreme Plus. Lovely and warm under my Otter Britannic.

Cheers

Dave Cooper
