Oh that sounds technical.. As a real chef I generally cooked using this scale: Oven temp - Full Blast Chernobyl level. Weights- Smidgens Blobs and Dollops. Time.. When its brown turn it around when its black give it to Jack. Or more appropriate until its cooked:-) or falling apart. Is it cooked yet? - is it burnt? then no.. Is that mixed enough yet Chef? - depends how much time we got? or Whys this sauce Lumpy? Thats not lumpy thats in the recipe. Incidently I always wanted to write a cookery book. When you opened it up it was going to be blank. I was going to name it "The make it up as you go along cookery book." I am sure it would have sold like er.. Lumpy hot cakes. And to really answer your question about 10-15 minutes I think, this was a long time ago and I didn't just cook 1 at a time. I could endanger a complete species catering for a Summer Ball. ![]()

| http://www.vkm.no/dav/0327284150.pdf seems to be the same data. They acknowledge that Lobsters have pain receptors (nociceptors) then refute they have the ability to sense pain. Pain is accepted as occuring in fish |

| We dont have Lobsters over here, but we do have billions of crayfish, So my method is pretty, much the same as most of the boards here, in the fridge for about 4-5hrs, then a skewer thru the head. on a personel note I would never eat frozen crayfish as the meat tends to spoil in the freezer and become very pasty ( Due to the water molecules expanding under freezing and fracturing the meat ????). or sum such like Steve

Many organisms, including jellyfish and even plants, react to stimuli (plants lean towards the sun, the venus fly trap closes over insects, etc). No brain is needed to do so. An organism reacting to a stimulus that is bad for it cannot be construed as evidence of intelligence or the ability to feel pain. IMHO. And I don't eat seafood, before anyone starts
