| How did they find out? Did they ask mr.lobster/crab? Too bad the article have been removed before I got to read it. Did it say anything about the research method? |

| Honestly? I think they should be given happy-pills. No really. Boil'em alive. After all, who knows what trauma you might be exposing the poor innocent crustacean to as you lower it into the freezer and lets it slowly freeze to death? They say that freezing to death is the best way for us humans but do we know it's all that great for crabs and lobsters? I say. Boil the crabs, the lobsters, the Finns, the Danes and the Swedes. Boil the lot. It's painful but quick. Kyrre

| I can see how you can use a knife to bump off a lobster humanely before cooking. How do you do it for crabs as their heads don't really poke out? My Rick Stein book says something about sliding a skewer between its eyes and then lifting up the tail flap and shoving it in there!!. I tried this once but couldn't get anything through the armour. I thought it was more humane to stop this butchery and just get it in the pot. Does anyone have any experience on this? Paul |
